In the last two years, we have been bringing Love is Messy to life in several executions, from Merry Xmess to Shower Drain hair, and Soup Gloup is yet another messy tale of acceptance, where a mother’s love for her child cooking for her is quickly brought back to earth and confronted with the wet mess of the soup, exploded in the microwave.

The intention behind Love Is Messy is to dynamite the category cliches of pristine kitchens and perfect relationships where we never see any emotional tension or real-life mess. As much as we love our loved ones, we all know that the mess they make can still press our buttons (whether it’s anger, disgust, resentment, discouragement, and so on) – but real love is all about how we overcome the tension, wipe it off and laugh it off, to get back to a clean slate.
