Football invokes a range of emotions in fans, from ecstasy to despair, often peaking during extra time. Wrigley's Extra wanted to show how it could help fraught fans cope by relieving stress through chewing. The Extra 90+ campaign was born, and we tailored ads for 11 different football clubs to run during match-day programmes. Each one described a famous 'extra time' moment from Premier League history.
