Chapman to head AMV design team

AMV BBDO has hired Chris Chapman as their Head of Integrated Design. He will start on 30th July 2015. Chris began his career in 1997 as an Art Director at Creative Direction, before moving to BBH in 1999 under the stewardship of Andy Bird. During his 10 year career at BBH, he worked on numerous iconic brands, winning many awards at D&AD, Campaign BIG, Creative Circle and Cannes Lions. In 2009 Chris moved to Beattie McGuinness Bungay to become Head of Design/Head of Art. Whilst there he worked on accounts such as Selfridges, Thomson, Carling and Ikea as well as creating the new look for the 2010 Creative Circle Awards scheme. In 2012 he joined Saatchi & Saatchi London as their Design Director. Throughout his 17 year career he has produced many designs for brands such as Levis, Audi, Boddingtons, British Airways, Lynx, Murphys, Vodafone, Baileys, Castlemaine XXXX, Birdseye, Guinness, Barnardos, Barclays, Tango, Waitrose, McCain and Grolsch. In the newly created role of Head of Integrated Design at AMV, Chris will lead the Design Department on all aspects of design, to ensure that they are at the forefront of design and creativity within the agency, across multiple channels and platforms.
