AMV Wins Creative Review Agency of the Year

Each year Creative Review presents The Annual, which is a showcase of the year’s best work in advertising, graphic design and visual communication – only the work deemed to be of outstanding merit gets in. This year, AMV BBDO was made joint Agency of the Year (with BBH) for their work on Walkers, The Economist, Doritos and Heinz. Creative Review said: ‘As the biggest UK advertising agency in terms of billings and a reputation for great television commercials, it was a surprise to see AMV BBDO score with three major digital projects in this year’s Annual: Walkers Do Us A Flavour, The Economist Thinking space and Doritos Dodgeball. In fact, this year’s Annual was marked by the number of digital or non-traditional projects from what we perhaps will have to stop referring to as ‘traditional’ agencies. Last year our Agency of the Year was AKQA: this year, the big old boys fight back.’
