AMV Launches Content Arm 'Flare'

Traditionally, Creative Agencies have not been known for their work in the branded content space, with this work usually going to media agencies, digital agencies, production companies and specialist content agencies.

Eleven months ago, AMV BBDO hired Nick Price as Head of Digital Film, to build on the agency's industry leading capabilities in social media, and to extend broadcast ideas into new channels and formats. Since then, the department has grown to 15 people with an output of over 200 films and three YouTube channels under its belt and now AMV are pleased to announce the launch of Flare, an in-house production arm, which will produce the majority of the agency’s non-traditional content. Ian Pearman, Chief Executive of AMV BBDO, comments: “Being able to deliver great quality production values on lower budgets – which YouTube often necessitates – requires this kind of shift in thinking in terms of production. We are excited about what Flare will be able to produce in the coming months”.
