AMV hire award winning team from Mother
AMV BBDO have hired Caio Giannella and Diego Oliveira from Mother. The will work across a variety of clients at AMV.
Giannella and Oliveira have been working in advertising as a creative team since 2006. Born in Brazil, they met in an ad agency Africa in São Paulo when they were hired to help build the agency's new digital department.
In 2007, Diego won the Brazilian Cyber Creative Competition and also the Grand Prix at the Young Creative Lion in Cannes. That same year, they were part of the African team who were runner-up in the Cannes Lions Digital Agency of The Year. They also collected two silver Lions at the Cannes Festival.
At the end of 2008, they moved to BBH London to work with clients such as Axe, Johnnie Walker, Barclays, and Vodafone.
In 2010, they won the Guardian’s Cyber Creative competition and also represented the UK at the Young Creative Lion in Cannes. Additionally, they created the idea “Nothing Beats an Astronaut”, the Integrated Campaign for Axe Apollo, which won 4 Lions and 3 D&AD Pencils.
They then moved to Mother where they worked with clients such as IKEA, Stella Artois and Powerade amongst others. Most recently they created the IKEA Beds spot, which won a Gold and a Silver Lion at last week’s Cannes Festival, 4 D&AD Pencils and was instrumental to awarding IKEA Campaign of the Year by Campaign magazine.
